Nick Heidfeld has sent a letter to Robert Kubica, dedicating him the podium he won!!Nick Heidfeld dedicated by the podium in Malaysia to the unfortunate Robert Kubica. The German finished in third place for Lotus Renault GP and after this success, he remembered the man who he replaced him, his former teammate.Specifically, the 33 year old wrote an open letter addressed to the Polish driver, published in both official email address and through the German newspaper Bild. This letter said:
"Did you see it? I put your logo on the front of my helmet and the Polish flag on the side. I wanted to see and tell you that I think about you. I wanted to show the supporters that you're part of Formula 1 and of this group. The third place is yours. During the struggle, my mind went many times to you. Crossing the finish line, flooded with happiness. I know now that you might think: 'Lotus-Renault has created such a good car this year. I want to return as soon as possible and to ride! You can do it, I wish the best for your recovery. Get Well! "
Nick Heidfeld celebrated his 13rd podium of his career, being now the driver with the the biggest number of podiums. Although that, he had not feel the pleasure of a GP win.
