Canadian GP_FP3 - Vettel answers!!

12/6/11,
Sebastian Vettel was the fastest driver in the last free practice season!!
The final practice session at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve met another red flag interruption. This time it came after the session had already finished. The Sauber of Pedro de la Rosa crashed where his team mate Kamui Kobayashi did in the second free testing.

He did shortly after Sebastian Vettel did the fastest lap with 1.13.381 to take the lead of the session. His team mate Mark Webber did not come out of the pits as his Red Bull faced yet another problem with their Kinetic Energy Recovery System.

Canadian GP_FP2 - Alonso in the topll!!

The Spanish driver was the fastest driver through the second free testing in Canada!!
Fernando Alonso was the fastest driver for Ferrari in a disrupted second practice session in Canada.

Sebastian Vettel bounced back from his crash in the first session in the best possible way – by jumping straight to the top of the classifications shortly after leaving the pits. He was dropped from the top by Alonso, who was still using the soft tyres, which made his lap fastest than quarter of a second.

Canadian GP_FP1 - Rosberg makes the difference!!

12/6/11,
The German driver proved the speed of Mercedes GP in the first free practice!!
Many people said before the Canadian Grand Prix that Mercedes GP would be very strong on this track and Nico Rosberg confirmed their tellings. The German scored the best time in the first free trial period and set the tone to his team, being in fact more than half a second faster than the second driver.

Behind Rosberg Fernando Alonso found himself with Ferrari. The Spaniard moved quickly from the start of the season and was the one of the first drivers who joined the track starting doing fast laps. In the first 4 positions of the classifications were found only Mercedes and Ferrari, with Michael Schumacher in the third position and Felipe Massa in fourth. Further back were the two of McLaren , Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton, with Rubens Barrichello, Paul di Resta, Nick Heidfeld and Nico Hulkenberg to follow.

Possibilities of rain in Canada!!

12/6/11,
The weather forecast predicts rain on Sunday in Montreal.
Quite possible is to have the first wet race of the year as the weather forecasts predicts that we will have a rainy Sunday. The last time we had a wet race in Canada was in 2000, with Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello to make the 1-2 for Ferrari. The temperature during the Grand Prix is expected to range between 14 and 20 degrees of Celsius.

Will finally be the first time to see in a race the wet tires of Pirelli?

Glock agrees with the ''divorce''

12/6/11,
The German driver agrees with the stop of the cooperation between Virgin and  Wirth Research.
Timo Glock agreed with the recent ''divorce'' of Marussia Virgin Racing and Wirth Research. The 29-year old driver, who has the leadership in the moderate Russian group, endorses the choice of the administration to change course and stop the cooperation with the firm's Nick Wirth, who for nearly two years had the role of the technical director.
12/6/11,
Fernando Alonso will try hard for the best results in Canada!!
Ferrari is certainly difficult to find a rhythm and follow the leaders, with the only good results have came by the hand of Fernando Alonso in Turkey and Monaco on the second and third position respectively. The Spanish driver though has remained well behind in the title race, he doesn't give up and declares that they should try harder and give rise to a good show in Canada. The F150-as indicated by the twice world champion, is lagging significantly in aerodynamics, but the Gilles Villeneuve track suits to them.

Webber wants to stay in Red Bull!!

12/6/11,

Christian Horner revealed the intentions of the Australian driver!!
The issue about the contract of Mark Webber with Red Bull every year at this time is coming up to the surface. This year there are much more, but as the leading director of Red Bull, Christian Horner, Webber has already declared his intention to stay with the team in 2012.

Pirelli wants changes!!

3/6/11,
Pirelli does not agree with the tire change regulation after a red flag!!
The Monaco Grand Prix in Sunday was going to have a spectacular finale. Three drivers with three different cars claimed victory but with their tires in a completely different situation. In the first position was Sebastian Vettel with highly used tires which he had in his car since the 16th lap. In the second position was Fernando Alonso with his tires which had done 20 laps less than Vettel's. And in the third place was Jenson Button with a fresh set of tires. The differences between them were near to zero, and all those watching the race waited anxiously for the finale, which could be a battle that will go down in the history.

Petrov: I couldn't feel me legs well after the crash!!

3/6/11,
The driver of Renault described the moments after the crash!!
A few laps before the end of the Monaco Grand Prix, the safety car came out on the track for the second time after a conflict which was attended by Jaime Alguersuari and Vitaly Petrov. The driver of Renault did not come out immediately from his car and the medical team arrived to the track point immediately. There, Petrov told them that he had a lot of pain in his legs and as is normal the race was stopped so as the Russian drivel would be able to be transported to the hospital. Here, fortunately, it was found that there were no serious injuries and did not even keep him for observation.
