The German driver agrees with the stop of the cooperation between Virgin and Wirth Research.
Timo Glock agreed with the recent ''divorce'' of Marussia Virgin Racing and Wirth Research. The 29-year old driver, who has the leadership in the moderate Russian group, endorses the choice of the administration to change course and stop the cooperation with the firm's Nick Wirth, who for nearly two years had the role of the technical director.
"It was a good move. We all want to make steps forward and the team apparently was not satisfied with the performance of the car. So they had to take a decision. Such a change is never easy but in long term, the development will be positive, "said the German driver to the magazine Autosport.
So far, Virgin has managed to get started in 25 Grand Prix and their best finished position was in the 14th position- last year in Malaysia with Lucas di Grassi and in Japan with the Glock.
