6/5/11,
The Polish driver continues the hard work during his recovery period!!
The Battle of Robert Kubica after his serious injury continues unabated. The Polish might have come out of the hospital but at home he devotes many hours of physiotherapy, seeking to return to active as soon as possible. The head director of Lotus Renault GP, Eric Boullier, talked with him and discussed about the driver's effort.
"Last week we talked about an hour on the phone and obviously he is relieved that he has returned home and his normal rhythms, although every day he has to work hard to recover. He tries very hard, he trains his self from 6 to 7 hours a day and I think in mid-June we will know more about what we can expect and when. The injury was very serious.
It is easy to restore the bones and muscles, but nerves are another difficult story. We must be careful about this issue. It takes time and patience, "said Boullier. Kubica was injured in February during the Rally Ronde di Andora.
