Gerald Lopez revealed that Robert Kubica will not be able to race in the season of 2011!!
Robert Kubica continues his recovery period after a serious injury in the early February, after a number of surgeries and a long stay of several weeks in hospital. The question, however, in when the Polish driver will be able to return to the cockpit remains. The doctors who attend him said that we will have to wait until we'll get in the summer before making specific provision for his return but Gerard Lopez has revealed that no one wanted to admit: that Robert Kubica will not return this year in Formula 1 .
Lopez left open the possibility that Kubica be found in the Renault car in one of the free practices on Friday but ruled out the case that he is ready to run a race "probably we will bring him to some of the free tests during the season but I'm sure that his return is not possible this year. Robert survived a horrific accident and now comes the difficult part which is to come back fully recovered, and no one knows, neither the doctors nor he nor we, if we will succeed. "
