Sebastian Vettel was the fastest driver in the last free practice season!!

The final practice session at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve met another red flag interruption. This time it came after the session had already finished. The Sauber of Pedro de la Rosa crashed where his team mate Kamui Kobayashi did in the second free testing.

He did shortly after Sebastian Vettel did the fastest lap with 1.13.381 to take the lead of the session. His team mate Mark Webber did not come out of the pits as his Red Bull faced yet another problem with their Kinetic Energy Recovery System.

The Spanish driver was the fastest driver through the second free testing in Canada!!

Fernando Alonso was the fastest driver for Ferrari in a disrupted second practice session in Canada.

Sebastian Vettel bounced back from his crash in the first session in the best possible way – by jumping straight to the top of the classifications shortly after leaving the pits. He was dropped from the top by Alonso, who was still using the soft tyres, which made his lap fastest than quarter of a second.

The German driver proved the speed of Mercedes GP in the first free practice!!

Many people said before the Canadian Grand Prix that Mercedes GP would be very strong on this track and Nico Rosberg confirmed their tellings. The German scored the best time in the first free trial period and set the tone to his team, being in fact more than half a second faster than the second driver. 

Behind Rosberg Fernando Alonso found himself with Ferrari. The Spaniard moved quickly from the start of the season and was the one of the first drivers who joined the track starting doing fast laps. In the first 4 positions of the classifications were found only Mercedes and Ferrari, with Michael Schumacher in the third position and Felipe Massa in fourth. Ferrari is certainly difficult to find a rhythm and follow the leaders, with the only good results have came by the hand of Fernando Alonso in Turkey and Monaco on the second and third position respectively. The Spanish driver though has remained well behind in the title race, he doesn't give up and declares that they should try harder and give rise to a good show in Canada. The F150-as indicated by the twice world champion, is lagging significantly in aerodynamics, but the Gilles Villeneuve track suits to them.

Updates about the health condition of the Mexican driver!! 

A few minutes before the end of the qualifying season in Monaco all who were watching held their breath. Sergio Perez lost control of his Sauber at the exit of the tunnel and fell rapidly in the barrier foam which is just opposite. Immediately the medical staff rushed at this point, but the unlocking of the Mexicans from the damaged car took some time. When finally he was pulled immediately he was put on a stretcher and an ambulance took him to a local hospital.

Mark Webber put Red Bull again in the first position of the Spanish GP, being followed by his team mate Sebastian Vettel. Lewis Hamilton followed with his McLaren in front of Fernando Alonso.

The main competitors of the pole position were Red Bull and McLaren, the latter pair falling to 14th and 15th as other drivers improved on soft tyres. Mercedes and Ferrari both used soft tyres to ensure their drivers reached Q2.

Nick Heidfeld was unable to join in following his fire during practice. And a gearbox problem after his first run forced Rubens Barrichello to elimination.

That gave a position in Q2 to Lotus’s Heikki Kovalainen.

The usual suspects filled the remaining places but all the drivers who set times were within the 107% time. Jerome d’Ambrosio, the slowest qualifier, was inside by just three tenths of a second.

Sebastian Vettel dominated the Turkish Grand Prix, with his team mate in second and Fernando Alonso in third!! 

The 4th race of the year ended to confirm two things: That the car of Red Bull in the hands of Sebastian Vettel is a car in a different level than the other ones, and that changes in regulations have clearly changed to the better performances in Formula 1. Sebastian Vettel continues the good job, taking the pole position for the 4th time!! 

Another pole position, the fourth in four races, was celebrated by Sebastian Vettel. Red Bull Racing completely dominated in qualifying of the Turkish Grand Prix with their drivers locking the first row of the grid completing the process ... in the pits. They had the best early lap-times and both Vettel and Mark Webber left their cars a half minutes before the end of Q3. 

The others tried to improve but seeing that they had not any hope to catch the timing of RB7, tried to preserve the tires in the face of the race. He tries very hard, he trains his self from 6 to 7 hours a day and I think in mid-June we will know more about what we can expect and when. The injury was very serious.

Renault will add new features to their car!!

Lotus Renault GP will bring several upgrades for the car in Istanbul. The R31 will be in Turkey with new front wing modifications to the nose and the floor and some upgrades to the air intakes. With this, the British team hopes to cover a part of the proceedings of the Red Bull Racing and McLaren, and of course, to prevail Ferrari and Mercedes. 

"We have a major upgrade. Historically, teams have a lot of changes going back to Europe but I think in recent years the race in progress has become more intense.

The circuit of Abu Dhabi will be presented with more <<overtaking>> changes!!

Several changes will be made this year at the racetrack in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. After last year's race, which overtaking was almost impossible, this significantly affected the battle to claim the world title and the intense criticism that followed, the officers of Yas Marina have started work.

So when the lights will be turned in the race on 13 November there will be a series of changes, starting with the chicanein of turn 9, which will be shifting a significant slope to the road. 

Heidfeld: We can improve our performance even more!!

The German driver believes that the team of Renault can improve their performance more!!

The team of Renault has done a very good start to the season with two podiums in the first three races, but Nick Heidfeld claimed that the group has not yet shown their full potential. The previous race in China was not as good for the team as the first two and the recovery effort was not very big, the German driver believes that Renault knows what to do to return to good results. 

Heidfeld spoke about the season so far and the car of Renault: «We had ups and downs. The good news is that the car is innovative and fast.

Jenson Button wants to end his carrer in Formula 1 with the team of McLaren!!

After the moving of Jenson Button in McLaren after winning the World Cup in 2009 surely this caused great sensation. Since then the British's driver collaboration with both of his ambitious team mate (Lewis Hamilton) and with the other members of the group is admittedly exemplary. Button's contract is for three years and expires at the end of 2012 but reports indicate that McLaren wants to start now talks about a possible refreshment, which apparently is the same desire of the British driver. 

Jenson Button gave an interview to Autosport in which he was clear about his future ambitions: "When I will stop driving for this group I would not be standing anymore in Formula 1. I am very happy here. I want to enjoy the races and I really have a great time here. I see no other reason to go elsewhere. I drive for one of the best teams in the world. It is a position that most drivers would like to found and I worked very hard for this. I can stay for another 3 or 5 more years ... I do not know. " 

Vettel: I am not dominating!!

The 2010 world champion is down-to-earth, although the pretty good start he has made this year!! 

Sebastian Vettel has started the new season with the best way he could, being able to well-defend his title. The driver of Red Bull Racing has triumphed as the premiere of Albert Park and the Battle of Sepang, startling the competition and gaining early major league lead. However, the 23 year old is still down to earth . 

"Some people are already talking about relentless domination. But only 2 of 19 races are done. We have seen that within a few days can change the data in terms of the performance of each group.

Paul di Resta: We exceeded our expectations!!

The driver of Force India is satisfied with the good start of the new season!!

Paul di Resta has started his first season in Formula 1 with the best way he could. The Scottish driver of Force India finished in both of the first races in 2011, justifying his team for choosing him for one of their driver. 

"I can not say I was surprised but certainly I feel very well. The only thing I did was to approach the first races with an open mind. We exceeded our expectations, "said the 26 year old driver to Autosport. 

Paul di Resta was graded late in Australia ... due to the cancellation of Sauber. In Malaysia, the points came under his own performance. 

Hamilton: We boxed too early!!

Hamilton complains about the strategy of his team!!

Lewis Hamilton talked about the race strategy of McLaren in Malaysia, after the end of the race. He made four pit stops through the race, and he said: “We boxed too early and then we had to box earlier. All the time we were boxing before everyone.”

He also lost a place from Nick Heidfeld at the start of the race and fell behind Jenson Button after  having a slower pit stop than his team mate.

He said: “I did everything I could to keep up. “That’s one of those days, in which you just have to take it on the chin and move forward.”
