Robert Kubica: I will come back stronger!!

11/2/11,

Robert Kubica is still in the hospital of Santa Corona and recovers from many serious injuries after the accident at the rally last Sunday. Although all this bad things he appears very optimistic. The Pole says he will return to the track better than he was before the accident and also said that this should be done this year. All this things while is pending a more serious surgery to repair the fractures in the elbow and the leg, and doctors say that in any case they can not yet say with certainty how his condition will develop.

Kubica was interviewed by the newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport and said: "I want to get back on track as quickly as possible. After such accidents you are not the same as before, you become better. This happened to me in 2007, after the accident in Canada. I stayed outside for a race and when I returned I was better. A driver does not simply hit the accelerator and turn the wheel,  he does much more. There is a difference between that who drives with the 80% of his self and that who drives with 95% and above this 15% because you can find skills and motivation. After 2007 I am stronger mentally as a driver. And this time the same thing is going to happen when I will return in good physical condition. I have to return this year. "

Kubica talked about his memories of his earlier accident: "I remember very well my situation 7 years ago when I was in a car which was driven by a friend of mine. After that  and we hit a drunk. And then we hit the barrier, brake it and then fell into a precipice. My right hand was broken. But, after 4 days I did not feel as good as I feel now and this reassures me. I want like a crazy man to reduce my time here and be best prepared. I do not know how a bone looks like, but since it will be fixed, it is my job to make that works as intended.

The Polish described the situation of his hand and said that he does not remember much of the accident: "My fingers are working well,  I am feeling  normal, like the arm. But I should go to a surgery again, so I'll know more after that. I'm sorry for what happened. This should not had happened. But I do not know exactly what and how it happened. I can not remember anything from the accident. I only remember myself in the hospital  and my manager Daniele Morelli  explained everything to me, who is here from Sunday.

Morelli gave an appalling description of the situation that Kubica was when he arrived at the hospital because of blood loss: "When I came to the hospital they had only 1 liter of blood. On Sunday afternoon the doctors told me: 'Call his parents. " Then I felt my blood freezing.
