Alonso looks content after 115 laps!!

The Spaniard was focused again on long distances.

Fernando Alonso completed the fourth and the final day of testing for Ferrari at Jerez completing 115 trouble free rounds. The Spaniard who once again filled the stands with people scored the third fastest time of the day with the new F150. The local hero was focused on large stint as an expense in each of the track supplement  he did at least 15 rounds before returning to the pit. 

"I am very happy as after 4 days in Jerez neither Felipe nor I encountered problems. We have made great progress these days. We know that this year the stability of the tire is not the same as last year. One of the biggest changes of 2011 is the tire wear, so working on this issue. It is true that every day we find new data which is needed to analyze, but I not going to reveal what tires did I use, "said the Spaniard to the reporters after the tests. 

It is too early to get to a conclusion says the Ferrari's driver on how competitive the Scuderia is.  He might not reveale what tires he used but he said that the next appointment of the teams is in Barcelona in which they will try to cover even more miles. "There isn't enough time for preparations and we will be in Barcelona for three days for the next tests. We will try to improve the car and make more than 100 rounds each day, this is the goal. On Sunday after the race of Bahrain we will know how competitive we are. Then we will be able to say if it is good or not the performance of the car. Until then we are focused on how to improve it. "
