Risk and adrenaline are in the daily agenda of a Formula 1 driver according to Fernando Alonso. The two-time world champion spoke on the occasion of the injury of his old friend, Robert Kubica, stressing the need of the drivers for the sense of speed and the dangers which are being hiding even in everyday life.
"We always need something to throw doses of adrenaline in our system and rallies are a good workout for a driver of Formula 1. I bike with my friend a few weeks ago and suddenly a truck jumped ahead. If we were a few steps ahead, we should had hit. You can avoid the dangers and risks, "admitted the Spaniard speaking to CNN.
Then the 29-year old driver was reported in the accident of Robert Kubica and especially of his reaction when he learned the news.
"It was not clear that he will make it. I went by car to the hospital because I wanted to know exactly what were the injuries and what was happening. Now he is recovering( Kubica) an we I hope to see him again in Formula 1 », wished Alonso.
