Robert Kubica starts his restoration process!!

22/2/11,

After the terrible crash in rally race in Italy Robert Kubica can now start his restoration period after the many surgeries which took place in the hospital of Santa Corona before a week. The doctor who operated on Robert seems to be optimistic and says that the Polish driver has started a painful and long period of health restoration and improvement!!

"There was no need to stay in the intensive care unit anymore as he has started a restoration process. Now he is alone in a large room to be as comfortable as possible. He has already started some small exercises and he moves his fingers slightly.
He has also begun to acquire sensitivity in his hand. The most important thing is that there is no sign of infection, which is our biggest concern. I saw him this morning at 8:30. He was doing quite well and his condition is good, despite what he has passed through all these days. The good news is that there are no complications following the recent surgery. He doesn't hurts now and his psychological condition is good. Obviously, he wants to begin the restoration process as soon as possible. Although he has done well so far it is still early to predict how much time will he spent through his restoration process. He will stay in the hospital for the following weeks so we will be able to control his condition because there are still the possibilities of infections. The next 2 weeks we will be able to consider our next move, "said Rosello.
