Mark Webber evaluates the work done in Jerez for the Red Bull Racing
Mark Webber may not has managed to score top times in development tests but he is not afaid of it. As stated at the end of the second day of action in circuit of Jerez de la Frontera, what matters is this season's credibility and not the impressment of the achievement of top times.
"Our car worked very well and we continued to learn things about it. We're still at the beginning and there is still much time before the first race starts. But we have gone through many miles so far, which is important, "said the Australian.
The RB7 now covered 113 laps in the length of 4.4 km of the Spanish track and completed the program without problems. The chief race engineer Ian Morgan, spoke about the current schedule of the Austrian team.
"We continued to assess the Pirelli tires and tried some new aerodynamic parts. It was a productive day. We focused on our schedule, enjoyed reliability and generally Mark had two trouble-free days, "said the Briton.
