Beyond reach Ferrari and Red Bull!!

Jenson Button finds it difficult to compete with the two protagonists!!

It is generally understood that so far in the development tests the cars that have shown that are quiet fastest are those of Red Bull and Ferrari. These two groups are in their own category and is expected to duel hard throughout the league that will begin in a few days in Australia. This is seen, by Jenson Button, who does not believe that McLaren will be able, at least in the first part of the season, to compete them. 

After the first day of testing at Barcelona, the 2009 champion said: "It will surprise me if we will be able to race at the same level as Red Bull and Ferrari in Melbourne. We will be asking a lot from ourselves, compare to the speed and the distance which they have covered so far. It would be difficult to compete them. But never say never. I am impressed by the progress we have made so far with the car. However, it is not enough. We'll see this week, with several changes in the setup and we will see if we are getting closer. But being with their pace from the first match will be surely tough. " 

Button admitted that the tests have not gone as well as we wanted with McLaren: «We have not made the best start for the miles we have covered so far, for the reliability levels and speed. But I think we have made good progress. I would not say that we have the quickest car. We still have a long way but I'm happy with what we achieved today. We did not do as laps as we wanted but we did a few steps forward compared to the feeling of the car. "
