23/3/11,
The Australian driver is looking forward for the start of the first race in his country!!
Finally the first race in Formula 1 in Melbourne is up and a few days are remaining before the start of the new season. The cancellation of the Grand Prix of Bahrain brought its premiere to Albert Park, the home race for Mark Webber. The driver of Red Bull Racing is pleased to begin his attempt to win the title in front of his countrymen, though they do not usually do well in the struggle of his homeland.
"As an Australian, I am glad that the first race of the season is finally held in Melbourne and I am looking forward to it. We have done many tests and we worked hard but all our questions about the level of capacity of the car will be answered when we get in the track and begin racing. It will be a weekend full of twists, especially when the weather is changing in this era. You will also learn a lot about the new tires which will play an important role in the balance of the car. I hope to be luckier this year because in my first Grand Prix, in 2002, I had not very good races in my country. I hope to achieve the best possible results and the indications say we can do well. The winter tests were the best in the history of our team and I hope to continue with the same results in the first race, "said the 34 year old driver to the official preview of RBR in Melbourne.
