McLaren surprises in the 2nd testing in Melbourne!!

The new upgraded McLaren made the difference and proved that they might surprise us!!

The second testing was accompanied with the treat of rain. Although that this season proved that the team of McLaren has made impressive changes in the car with Jenson Button in 1st and Lewis Hamilton in 2nd with 1:25.854 (Button) and 1:25.986(Hamilton). After them in third was Alonso with  1:26.001 and behind him Vettel with 1.26.014. Webber was in 5th with 1:26.283.

In the last half hour of the season the usage of DRS was restricted. The drivers in the end of the period joined the circuit again with Ferrari and Red Bull simulating a race (HRT did not participate at that moment).

A very good appearance from Schumacher who was holding for a long time the first position. The afternoon was also good for Sergio Perez who finished in the 8th position. HRT finally did an installation lap before the checkered flag. The 107% which has returned this year will make the efforts of HRT and Virgin really difficult.

The next period will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at 5am. Who knows...we might se even more surprises from the teams and the drivers.
