10/3/11,
Sergio Perez with his Sauber was the fastest driver in the track today.(10/3)!! Viva Sergio!!
The third day of the development testing of Formula 1 in Barcelona ended with a not particularly expected name to be on the top of the list of the time-periods. Sergio Perez, the driver of Sauber did today the fastest lap. The Mexican's 1:21.761 is the best time achieved so far in the Circuit de Catalunya and is lower than that which was recorded yesterday by Sebastian Vettel. Shortly after Perez, Felipe Massa for Ferrari also made an effort but it was a 3 / 10 behind the Mexican and his time was recorded as the second best of the day. Massa, however, was by far the most active driver of the day and completed 132 laps, equivalent to a distance of two Grand Prix.

Renault has divided the day between Vitaly Petrov in the morning and Nick Heidfeld in the afternoon. Petrov afflicted by problems with KERS and did only 24 laps while in the afternoon Heidfeld scored the sixth best time period. The other group which distributed the day was Lotus but it was only theoretical since the morning, Jarno Trulli has just done 6 laps.
