What's going on with Hamilton?

15/3/11,
No sooner had the driver of McLaren ended many months of speculation by announcing that he will from now and on join his fellow British sports stars David Beckham and Andy Murray at Simon Fuller’s XIX Entertainment than Red Bull were busy stirring the pot, refusing to rule out a move for the 2008 world champion.
The admission by Red Bull team principal Christian Horner, and not for the first time, that he would entertain an approach from Hamilton’s management may be viewed simply as mischief-making; destabilising Hamilton, testing his resolve, while simultaneously undermining McLaren.

But it is also impossible to ignore the fact that with McLaren about to start another season with a car that is apparently off the pace, a move to Red Bull is one of few options available to him when his contract expires at the end of 2012.

At the moment there is no indication Hamilton would wish to leave Woking. On the contrary, he is fiercely loyal and it is accepted he would far rather stay at a team who have nurtured him from the age of 13.
