Jean Todt thinks that it would be better if the drivers in F1 should keep the same number in their whole career!!

Jean Todt thinks that the drivers would be good to have their own numbers in their whole career. The president of the world motor racing federation has expressed its desire to change the existing system and to use the philosophy which exists on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. 

"Like in NASCAR ... Each driver which would be up in Formula 1 will get a number that will maintain throughout his career. It would be easier to recognize a driver by its number. At present, neither the number nor the name are easily identified, "said the Frenchman to the newspaper of Melbourne Age. 

Of course, another thing is to express an idea and another thing is when nobody else is to be implemented with the specific idea. With Todt admitting that the idea has not found many supporters in the paddock yet.
