The height of the nose is being checked by FIA!!

19/3/11,
FIA thinks that it would be better if some restrictions could be set, so the phenomenon of taking off could be controlled!!
Quiet seriously is considering the global motorsport federation the possibility to set security restrictions in designing the cars of Formula 1. Specifically, the area under consideration are the tips of the cars in recent years have been an upward trend .... However, such planning is helpful during accidents involving take-offs, as happened last year in Valencia after the collision of Heikki Kovalainen and Mark Webber.

"The key factor is the height of the nose of the car below as this will determine whether to take off or not," told to the magazine IQ Andy Mellor, the director of the Institute of FIA.

According to the British, a more conservative design would cause the sinking of the nose under the rear wheel of the leading car instead of taking off. However, instead prohibited discussed generally high "noses" to amend the design of the whole front wing that helps keep the muzzle low in case of such contact.
