McLaren changed their program!!

The British team changed their program starting the tests tomorrow but finishing....on Saturday!!

McLaren changed the program in terms of the development tests starting tomorrow (8 / 3) in the track of Catalunya. The British team was expected to participate normally in the initial dates of the last winter test (8-11 March), refusing to follow the changes in dates which were made by Ferrari, Mercedes GP, Hispania Racing and Williams which have changed the program for March 9-12 .

McLaren will therefore will innovate ... as they are going to follow their own program! On Tuesday 9th Jenson Button will normally drive the MP4-26, delivering the day after the wheel to Lewis Hamilton. However, the British would take a break on Thursday, waiting in the garage and will continue next weekend, with the two former world champions rotating the wheel.

The above change was confirmed by a McLaren spokesman to the British media, but to justify this choice, most likely is to be sent to Spain, new parts for the car during the test.
