1/3/11,
Timo Glock underwent through a surgery for removing his appendix and as it seems likely, he will not be able to take part in the latest tests of F1 in the next week in Barcelona. Glock came into the surgery on Monday morning 28 / 2 after the crisis that happened on Sunday night. The surgery went well and the German of Virgin will take part in the first race in Australia.
Glock himself wants to go normally in Barcelona but the final decision will be taken by the head director of Virgin, John Booth, next week. However, it is unlikely that Glock will drive in Barcelona so he will probably be probably by Jerome D 'Ambrosio who will be probably found in the cockpit for the four days of the tests: "Timo underwent the surgery yesterday after a sudden crisis of appendicitis. It was a routine surgery and he is already recovering well in a Swiss hospital, where he will stay for the next 24 hours. To ensure the best for his return he is unlikely to take part in subsequent tests of Barcelona and the position will be taken by Jerome who will drive four days. We will take our decision early next week. We are looking forward to Timo to join us again soon "
