14/3/11,
The preparation of the ''buls'' were ideal but still they don't know how the competition will be!!
At the tests of Formula 1 which were done on Saturday in Barcelona, Red Bull Racing was singled out from speed and stability. It is no coincidence therefore that the majority of those attending the sport deserves big favorite to star in 2011. The people of the Austrian team admit that this year's winter was the best in the brief history and that the tests went perfectly. However, they avoided making comparisons with other groups until the true potential of the other cars in Australia.
Christian Horner told after the test to Autosport and captured the climate of the "bulls": I really do not know where we stand compared to others. The fuel load can make a huge difference and it is impossible to predict. We are not particularly worried about something but I always wait anxiously for the first race. But I can say that we had the best pre-season so far for the miles we had, we were present at the first test and tried everything we wanted to try. Admittedly, we are in better condition that we have ever been, but in the winter tests you do not get any points. It is very important, but points will be given starting with Melbourne. Currently we all have the same number of points. "
The head director of Red Bull said that in the tests his team has dealt only with its own performance and not with the other teams': "We are pleased with our preparations. We completed our program and achieved most of our goals which we had set. As we did in the previous years, we focused on our preparation. We had 15 days of tests and we should have taken advantage of each one. It is very difficult to try to see where we stand in the correlation of forces. We hope to be very competitive in Melbourne. I'm sure Ferrari will be strong and that all of the teams will be bringing updates. Only in Q1 in Melbourne will see where we stand. "
